Billing Policy
Dr. Laurie A. Marti, MD is not a contracted provider for any insurance company, Medicaid, or Medicare program. This clinic does not perform any billing services on your behalf.
Dr. Marti is opted out of the Medicare billing system for consultations but laboratory testing ordered by Dr. Marti can be billed by the laboratory itself to Medicare. Dr. Marti cannot bill Medicare for consultations and the patient may not ask Medicare for reimbursement for consultations.
Dr. Marti will provide a Superbill outlining appropriate diagnostic and billing codes for consultations and laboratory testing, but does not guarantee any reimbursement from insurance companies, including coverage for consultations, laboratory fees, and any other billed amounts.
Dr. Marti does not provide refunds for prepaid specialty testing.
Payment is expected at time of service. We prefer payment via credit cards but will accept personal checks in limited situations.
